Create Free Local Leads Using Facebook
Facebook is a great place to connect with people within our respective niches. You can connect with anyone according to their interests, beliefs, or schools. As internet marketers the most appealing way to we can connect with people is by LOCATION. As internet marketers you should already know who our target market is but just a reminder they are network marketers who are struggling to make any real income in the industry or people looking to get into network marketing and want the best chance of success by combining traditional offline strategies with online strategies. For new internet marketers the first place they always go to gain new friends and relationships on Facebook is mlm groups, lead generation groups, internet marketing groups. I am not saying that strategy is wrong it’s fine, but think about something where are these people located you have NO idea because facebook is huge and they can be scattered all over the globe. You can’t forget the main reason for internet marketing which is to gain new customers and partners for your primary MLM business. With that in mind the best way to build a mlm business is face to face it has always been the best method, internet marketing is simply getting more people in front of you 100 times quicker but you MUST still connect with them and facebook is a perfect place to do that. With that being said there is no better way to build face to face then by building a local team. If you want to take over a market or build a new market you have to learn how to do it and what better testing ground to do it then your current local market. There is one element you have to have to build any organization is people and to get people you need prospects which you can attain on facebook. So how can you use facebook to create laser targeted leads?
Facebook Leads Step #1
On facebook you have to know your target and that is once again people already in MLM that are struggling, current mlm leaders, or brand new prospects to mlm. Why is our main focus more so on people currently in MLM? This is because 97% of networkers still don’t make over six figures in the opportunities they are involved in and are looking for guidance on how to build properly. That’s why we provide valuable content to help them. In turn if done right some people you are helping will want to work with you directly which can only be done by joining your primary business.

In Facebook
-click on account in the top right corner
- click on edit friends
- On the left side of the page click on Find Friends
-scroll down to other tools and click find friends
-click on find classmates or coworkers
Facebook Leads Step #3
Search for people on facebook who say they are employed by the top MLM companies or other mlm’s you know of in the area they ARE network marketers.

Facebook friend request and connect with them. I’ve been fairly succesful using paid FB advertising to generate leads, but I can’t say the free methods have worked for me. I am joining Jo Barnes’ Social Networking Academy to see if I can learn a few things about getting free FB traffic (http://sna.norajanine.com) . We shall see how that goes. =)
